Hypericum perforatum, flowering tips only.
We wild-harvest St. Johnswort in fallow fields and meadows in mid-summer, when the flowers are at their best. The cut we offer is made from only the flowering tips, harvested and dried especially for infusing in oil. If you make salves and herbal remedies, these flowers are intended for you. Our aim is that they be as carefully harvested and dried as the ones you would pick yourself.
St. Johnswort has many traditional uses, including as an external remedy for nerve pain, to promote healing in crush injuries and injuries to the extremities, as an expectorant in respiratory trouble, to aid with problems related to urination, and as a treatment for depression.
