Japanese Knotweed Root

Japanese Knotweed Root is the primary botanical used in the treatment of Lyme Disease, based on the herbal treatment protocols of Stephen Buhner. This potent root has a long history of use in Traditional East Asian Medicine, and is being studied for its possible effects on diabetes, cancer, high blood pressure and other conditions. It is known to be very high in resveratrol.

All of our Japanese Knotweed root is harvested wild on private land in Eastern Ontario. We harvest in the early spring and in late fall, when the root is at its most potent.

Our Japanese Knotweed is available cut-and-sifted, tea cut or as a powder.
